Directorof Audiology Division

All a man’s worth is in his deeds not in his possessions. The more joy a person can bring to people the more he/she feels the pleasure of belonging to society; this is why I decided to be an audiologist. As an audiologist, I can provide help to a group of people who were deprived one of the most cherished senses, hearing.

Nothing can be more moving and exciting than seeing the faces of parents glowing with joy mixed with tears as they witness their child hearing sounds for the first time. These were the same faces filled with sorrow when they learned that their precious child had a hearing loss. The family then feels even more happiness as their child begins to acquire language and speak his first words. Furthermore, being able to help patients overcome problems associated with balance as well as hearing problems is also very rewarding.

I was very fortunate to join JISH, a center of excellence, leadership, distinction and professionalism in the field of audiology, re/habilitation and other communication disorders. The fact that JISH is a non profit organization and therefore, knowing that my colleagues and I can continuously provide the best possible clinical services for all our patients regardless of their economic situation, status and or background makes our jobs even more meaningful and rewarding.
